Hello everyone, welcome to General Measure's channel.
When you get a new General Measure Hawk Checkweigher, how do you make it run properly?
Today, we'll show you how to calibrate the Hawk checkweigher and create a product recipe.
I. Static Calibration
1. Administrator Login
First, log in as an administrator and enter the default password 000000.
2. Enter the Calibration Interface
After successful login, tap “General” and then enter the “Calibration” menu.
3. Zero Calibration
Make sure there is nothing on the weighing conveyor. When it is stable,
tap “Zero Calibration”.
When “Calibration Successful” appears, the zero calibration is completed.
4. Weight Calibration
Place a 500 g test weight on the weighing conveyor.
After the weight stabilizes, tap “Weight Calibration”.
In the pop-up input box, enter 500 and tap “Confirm”.
When “Calibration Successful” appears, the weight calibration is completed.
II. Create a Product
1. Enter the Product List
Tap “Product” to enter the product list interface.
2. Create a New Product
Tap “New” to open the product creation window.
3. Set Basic Product Parameters
Product Name (e.g., GM002)
Batch Number
(When multiple operators use the same checkweigher, batch numbers help with operation management.)
Preset Tare
(Optional; Not shown in this demo.)
Product Length
(Using the on-screen ruler to measure the product length, e.g., 70 cm)
Checkweighing Speed
(Units per minute, e.g., 300)
Product Spacing
(Set according to the length of the weighing conveyor, 200 mm)
Next step
Number of Weight Zones
(Choose 3 zones or 5 zones, default is 3 zones)
Standard Net Weight
(Weight of the product being checked. Place the product on the weighing conveyor and enter the actual weight, e.g., 21.42 g)
Underweight & Overweight Tolerance
(Allowed deviation from the target weight, e.g., 0.2 g)
4. Save the Product
After all parameters are set, tap “Save”.
III. Dynamic Calibration
1. Start Dynamic Calibration
In the pop-up dynamic calibration window, select “Confirm” to start the process.
(Alternatively, tap “Activate Product” at the bottom of the right-side list to enter dynamic calibration.)
2. Set Sample Weight
Prepare a sample product and place it in the center of the weighing conveyor.
Once the weight is stable, tap “Sample Weight”, then choose Auto Obtain or Manual Input 21.42g.
3. Collect Dynamic Samples Weight 10 Times
Remove the product from the conveyor and tap “Start”. Run the same sample through the checkweigher 10 times to collect dynamic weight data.
Once completed, a correction coefficient will pop up.
Tap “Confirm” to complete the dynamic calibration.
After completing these steps, you can start batch inspection of the product.
That concludes today's operation demonstration.
