In this article, we will introduce several common methods for verifying scale accuracy.

The Methods for Verifying Scale Accuracy:

1. Linearity Test: After calibrating the weighing instrument, add and remove test weights. Check whether the indicated weight changes accordingly and whether the response remains linear. Under normal conditions, the displayed weight should be consistent with the actual value and the linearity is consistent.

2. Corner-Load Test: After calibration, place the same test weight at each load-cell support point or corner of the scale platform and compare the displayed values. The greater the value difference, the greater its effect on weighing accuracy. Under normal conditions, the displayed weight should be consistent at every test position.

3. Zero-Return Test: Disable the instrument's zero-tracking/automatic zero-return function [Procedure: Right Arrow key -> Confirm (enter the password) -> F1 (Confirm) -> switch to F1.2 -> Confirm -> Return to the home page]. Repeatedly apply and remove a relatively heavy load, and check whether the display returns to zero after unloading. If the load cells use movable mounting connections, gently move the scale laterally and check the zero return again. Under normal conditions, the indication should return to zero quickly and accurately.

After completing these checks, evaluate whether the current accuracy meets the requirements of the actual application. If a significant deviation remains, it may be related to load-cell installation, the scale structure, or other mechanical factors.
